Privacy Policy
The short version. We use your photos and details only to make and deliver your portrait and to talk to you about your order. We never sell your personal information.
What we collect
- Photos you upload of your pet (and of you, for Pet + Owner), and the portraits we create from them.
- Order details: your email, style, size, extras, pet's name, gift message and notes.
- From PayPal: your name, shipping address, payer email and the payment status. We never receive your card or bank details.
- Order records: the date, time, Terms version, IP address and browser you used when you accepted our Terms of Service, kept as proof of the agreement.
- Email list: your email, if you sign up for our discount code and news.
- On your device: our site stores small settings in your browser (for example your discount code and how many free previews you've used). We do not use advertising cookies.
How we use it
- To create your free preview, your proof and your canvas, and to print and ship your order.
- To email you about your order, proof and delivery, and to handle support requests, disputes and chargebacks.
- To send marketing emails, only if you joined our list. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To prevent fraud and meet legal, tax and accounting duties.
Who we share it with
Only with the service providers we need to run the shop, and only for that purpose:
- PayPal for payments, under the PayPal Privacy Statement;
- our print and fulfilment partner in the USA, which receives the artwork and your shipping address;
- our AI image service, which processes your photo to create the preview and draft artwork;
- our website hosting and database providers, which store your order.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
How long we keep it
- Unpaid checkouts and their photos are deleted automatically after 2 days.
- Paid orders, photos and portraits are kept for up to 2 years so we can handle reprints, support and disputes, and order and payment records as long as tax law requires. You can ask us to delete your photos earlier once your order has been delivered.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop marketing emails, by contacting us below. Depending on your state (for example California), you may have additional privacy rights; we will not treat you differently for using them. Our site is not intended for children under 13.
Security
Our site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), payments are handled entirely by PayPal, and access to orders is restricted to our team.
